Cloud Coworking strives to provide welcoming, innovation-provoking spaces that help businesses reach their goals - and grow. Cloud Coworking is a first-of-its-kind space in the St. Cloud area, but the coworking concept is growing nationwide with successful spaces in larger metropolitan areas like Boston and the Twin Cities.
A desire to create an affordable and collaborative office environment led entrepreneurs Jon Ruprecht and Dawn Zimmerman to start Cloud Coworking in 2011. They had been sharing office space when other businesses asked to join them. In February 2012, they moved into the historic Davidson Opera House on St. Cloud's original main street - Fifth Avenue - and became a part of the Fifth Avenue Live! development.
With many more employees telecommuting and working from home than ever before, cowork solutions are attractive options for professionals who need temporary or short-term office space for projects and client meetings—or for those who just simply wish to work within a community of other professionals for support and camaraderie.
Today, Jon Ruprecht, founder and chief creative director for nock Design Group, and Dawn Zimmerman, founder and chief communications officer for The Write Advantage Inc., continue to operate and grow their respective design and strategic communications businesses as Cloud Coworking members.
